So we paid a $1500 retainer and he began the process of suing a customer for non payment. I’ll spare the details, but essentially we paid Rob over $4k for a lawsuit that the customer only owed us $3500. Now after pursuing the lien on the property where the work was performed, Rob lets us know that the house is going to sheriffs sale and there are two creditors ahead of us so unless there’s a ton of equity in the property, we will likely not get paid. We can continue to pursue the customer to go after wages but it will continue to cost us even more money. Never during the process did he explain that this was a possibility. If I would have known it was going to cost us this much money, I would have just taken the loss and moved on. I would never recommend hiring Rob. I've never forgotten the way he spoke to my mother and basically told her she had no options. That being said I retained counsel from this firm, the person was very up front, polite, comfortable as well as spoke in terms that even I could understand, took my case on a more personal level.
