Nuestro hermano menor falleció inesperadamente, dejando a mi hermana y a mí a cargo de su cremación. Durante este momento tan emocional, fue muy agradable contar con Sutter Cremation allí para ayudarnos a guiarnos. Aunque tanto mi hermana como yo vivimos fuera del estado, Tona fue muy compasiva y servicial. Nos ayudó a elegir exactamente lo que necesitábamos y obtuvo un certificado de defunción para nuestros registros. Me mantuvieron informado durante todo el proceso. During this very emotional time, it was so nice to have Sutter Cremation there to help guide us. While both my sister and I live out of state, Tona was so very compassionate and helpful. She helped us choose exactly what we needed and obtained a death certificate for our records. I was updated throughout the entire process. When we traveled to California to pick up his remains, everything was ready including paperwork. Meeting Tona after only communicating by phone was so special. Not even once. An answering service took a message and someone called back while I was at work so I missed the call each time. It's crazy how these people gouge families for every single breath taken of their time. I wasn't informed of how the obituary would work. I had to ask a few times after I happened to go into the website. I didn't know what to ask. The people who assisted me couldn't answer ANY of my questions about what are some typical veteran benefits? or a general question, why do people get life insurance? They would not work with my schedule to pick up my dad. I HAD to take off of work to pick him up at THEIR designated time. I am available in the mornings. That would have cost me another $120 bucks just to pick up my dad during my OFF time! Unbelievable. AFTER I arrived to pick my dad up, I was told they'd sent an email to get his obit started. Prompt caring pick-up with later delivery of urn and death certificates both by mail. Answered questions at pick up and later by phone with regular updates and follow-up by Sutter Cremation. They did have to contact the life insurer providing the prepaid contract prior to cremation and that took at few days given it was Xmas and then weekend.
