Aunque la funeraria nos atendió organizando el transporte cubierto por el seguro y una velada, la experiencia general se sintió poco profesional y carente de compasión. From the start, the staff member who we worked with came across as insensitive and failed to reassure my sister during such a delicate and heartbreaking moment. When it came time to pick up the ashes, the interaction felt cold and detached. This was a deeply emotional time for our family, and the lack of warmth and empathy made it even harder. The building is in need of repair all around including the cracking paint. There is a tall older gentleman that spends too much energy attempting to harass young women. Acabo de salir de un servicio para mi abuelo, a quien llamábamos cariñosamente Pop pop. Estuve muy decepcionado con el servicio. Aunque nos dieron tiempo para que la familia compartiera algunos comentarios, nos cortaron. De hecho, estaba subiendo para hablar cuando el director me interrumpió para que se interpretara otra canción. Le pregunté si podía pedir, por favor, si había alguien más que quisiera compartir antes de pasar a la siguiente parte del servicio. Ella respondió que tenían poco tiempo y que todavía tendría tiempo... cuando en realidad no había tiempo adicional. También dijo que después teníamos que buscarla y pedirle que comenzara el servicio, ya que ella llevaba retraso desde el principio. Decepcionado. While they provided time for the family to share some remarks, we were cut short. I was actually on my way up to speak when the director cut me off for another song to be performed. A gentleman then came up and claimed he didn't want to preach to us....then spent 15 minutes preching, telling us that we all needed to accept jesus into our heart "if you ever want to him (pop pop) again." He continues on with a very spiritual message while not mentioning the deceased for a good 10 minutes. I went up to Betty, the funeral director right after the service to let her know that I was actually on the way up to speak about my grandfather when i was cut off. I asked if she could please ask if there was anyone else who who wanted to share, before moving on to the next part of the service. She replied that they were on a time crunch, and that i would still have time....when ther wasn't additional time. She also said that after we had to find her and ask for the service to begin since she was running behind schedule from the beginning. Cuando para un servicio funerario en este lugar el 12/06/2020 al que asistí. El olor en esta funeraria era terrible. Fue muy increíble lo maloliente que estaba este lugar desde el minuto en que entramos hasta que nos fuimos apresuradamente. Estoy considerando llamar al estado por ellos. Esto es triste y muy inaceptable.When for a funeral service at this place on 6/12/2020 that I attended. The odor at this funeral home was terrible. It was very unbelievable how foul smelling this place was from the minute we entered until we hurriedly left. I considering calling the state on them.
