Before choosing them, I reached out to a few other funeral homes, but I’m honestly glad we went with Slater. The other places did not feel as straightforward or genuine, while Slater made everything clear, simple, and comfortable from the beginning. The staff was warm, patient, and truly compassionate during such a difficult time. They treated us with respect and never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed. What meant the most to me was how honest they were throughout the entire process. Everything was explained clearly, the prices were affordable, and I never felt pressured into paying for arrangements or services we simply didn’t need. They gave us time to make decisions at our own pace, which I really appreciated. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the families they help. Their packages are not overly priced. Slater also provided a tote bag with your loved one’s picture displayed on the front. The bag had the signing book and other free additional items inside. Everything was beautiful, and exactly what we asked for plus more. When you are already stressed about losing a loved one they made us feel so at ease. The planning was so easy and straight to the point. My sisters funeral was exceptionally beautiful. Franchella went above and beyond with her funeral. My sister was beautiful she looked as if she was sleeping. Not too much makeup just perfect. The obituary and the announcement cards were perfect. The crowning ceremony for my sister was amazing. If you need a funeral home that will make things less stressful and meet your standards without any issues please pick Slater they are the best.
